OK I know Macadamian nuts are the 1st choice b/c of omega break down. What would be the next best nut/seed?

Presuming you wont allow the CocoNUT, then from an Omega 6 standpoint, here are 1/4 cup totals Macadamias – 0.5 g Cashews – 2.6 g Hazelnuts – 2.7 g Pistachio – 4.1 g Almonds – 4.36 g Pecans – 5.8 g Brazil nuts – 7.2 g Walnuts – 9.5 g Pine nuts – 11.6 g Melissa's additions European Chestnuts- 0.2775 grams (Asian chestnuts have even less) Ginko nuts are about equal to chestnuts. |
