after a constant pain in my right foot for over two months, x-rays [no fracture] and finally after mri, my doctor has diagnosed the problem as bone bruise. my research shows it could take months to years for this to heal and fully recover. i want to know if there is any food / diet that will help this. any other input also would be great!

I don't know for sure--this is not a condition people ask about in terms of food and nutrient cures, at least not very often. But I'm going to guess you probably couldn't go wrong with making sure your fat-soluble vitamin intakes are up to snuff (A, D3, and K2 mk-4 in particular), and perhaps you might teach yourself how to make old-fashioned bone broth, if you have not done so already. Because the other thing people might mention is taking minerals or finding mineral-rich foods to eat, and bone broth's pretty much it in terms of the nutrients you need for your bones already being there and quite bio-available.

The Weston Price folks say eat fat with your fat-solubles and your minerals, all together, for best assimilation. Sounds good to me. It's worth a shot.

I'm going to guess your doc told you to do weigh-bearing exercises with the foot as well? I know that helps heal breaks in bones, and might help a bruise too.
