I have been the same weight (240) for 6+ months +/- 5 pounds or so. From here I can gain as I want easily. I can have a couple carbs and pack on as much as 9 pounds in a weekend, and I can lose all that in a few days, but I seem to keep coming back. I am type II diabetic so that may have something to do with it, and I feel great, and it isn't the plateau that is interesting, it is that I am still losing size and that I look it too.
Many of the areas that were fatty before are now growing definition and I don't seem to be depositing any fat elsewhere. I don't do a whole bunch of exercise so I am not sure that I am gaining muscle. I look and feel better than when I weighed 230 10 years ago on a calorie restriction/high exercise diet.
I know I have more weight to lose but I am not really stressing about it at this point and am enjoying the better energy and health than I had when I was in my teens (I turn 38 this year).
It is just neat that even with this extended plateau that I am still losing size and fat and was wondering if others have noticed this happening to them and if anyone knows what is going on?
