I am doing the WHole 30 challenge (started as of March 1st). I am looking to drop some weight as well as heal my mind and gut. I am 5'2 weight 124 (start of Whole30) My meals are like the following: Take: Fish Oil daily Coffee/tea with coconut milk thru out the day--NO sweetener I sure do miss my stevia :( Breakfast: Omelet with left over meat (lamb or bison) & veggies (spinach/kale/tomatoes) in coconut/macadamia oil Lunch: Salad with Eggs usually 3 or 4 whole and 4 egg whites (question to follow) or BISON/LAMB Snacks: Eggs --3-6 sometimes whole sometimes just egg whites Dinner: HUGE HUGE salad -- usually NO added protein--just not in the mood and I go to bed within 1-2 hours after eating salad-- so dont like to eat too heavy cant sleep
Work out pretty much 6-7 days a week for at least 1-2 hours a day--now sometimes it is just walking and then sometimes it is intense--depends what I feel like doing for thr day.
allow cheat OK not really a "cheat" at all just an over eat 2x a week. Like today I ate a LARGE freakn amount of almonds -- I mean ALOT but I only allow this to happen 1x a week. And then on my other "cheat" --it is usally 1-2 pieces of fruit.
PHEW --now here are the questions: 1) Does anyone have an egg YOKE allergy-- I am starting to think I do? I just feel "bloated" the next day if I ate any yokes-- just FAT feeling. Dont know if it is the eggs or coconut milk?
2) I have not noticed any difference in the way I feel--if anything I feel FATTER! I figuired stopping the stevia wd help -- but it has not
3) I just dont like the taste of beef or fish -- that is why I dont eat much of it. Any suggestions on my above diet?
4) I use to weigh abt 110-115 BEFORE (some fats, egg whites and lots of veggies but was having BINGE issues with bread crap) I started this paleo experiment (about 2 months now -- doing the Whole30 for only the past week). Now I feel very uncomfortable in my body --just yucky!!
Any advice on how to get back down to 115--less bloated?
Thank you in advance for your input FORGOT TO ADD -- I also drink ALOT ALOT of water --at least 1 gallon/day--usually more
