No, he means coconut butter, I'm pretty sure. This is the very finely ground-up meat (including fat) of the coconut. It is absolutely delicious, but it is not the same thing as coconut oil (which is also pretty good, imo). Depending on the brand, it's more or less grainy. Something like peanut butter, but the oil separates out even more easily in the warm weather, and less easily in the cool. Having said all that, I'm not sure the answer to your actual question. According to one nutritional status site I read, 2 Tablespoons of coconut butter contain 7 grams of carb, of which 5 is fiber and the rest is sugar. Taken as a whole coconut butter contains 87.1% calories from fat. Excellent! |

Looks like it's just pureed coconut meat: http://www.premierorganics.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=35 So whatever nutritional data available on that will work. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3106/2 |

This seems very similar to coconut cream concentrate and if so, it's DELICIOUS. |
