Has anyone come across a good widget for use in Tabata training?

I'm looking for something maybe with the form factor of a wrist watch that can beep in alternating 20-second and 10-second intervals.

It'd be awesome if you could find something like this. I just use an Android app on my phone. – imanomnivore Mar 15 2011 at 18:05

If you have an Android phone you can use this app:

I just stumbled across this one, free on the web: http://www.speedbagforum.com/timer.html

It even has a preset for Tabata :)

There's a free app on iphone called icrossfit lite It has different timers (tabata, amrap counter and stopwatch), as well as various workouts. And vids of different movements.

Who makes it, I don't see it on the iPhone App store. – James Mar 15 2011 at 20:12
There were some trademark issues with icrossfit, so it's now under idiablo after the diablo crossfit box. – Jen H Mar 19 2011 at 4:56

I have the free Gymboss app on my itouch. Works very well and you can set up your own times/routines.

I have two of the GymBoss interval times with wrist staps. There are other brands to choose from as well. http://intervaltimers.net/
