A co-worker of mine bought a bodymedia body sensor (BodyMedia FIT Armband BW Weight Management System) http://amzn.to/e4qWG0 (measures heart rate, body temp, steps/motion) and let me borrow it for a week after I thought the idea sounded cool.
I'm not really for these things but found it interesting that I now have a reasonable idea of how much sleep I get, what my sleep periods are like.
I have to give it back to her today but am now tempted to buy one for myself now that I have seen the data it outputs.
Does anyone else use one to track their activity/sleep/etc? Are there alternatives to expensive hardware investments to track this that I am not thinking of?
