So I saw these at the local alternative supermarket this evening and wondered what opinions here thought of them! Given the added sugar; I won't be getting these again but I thought they were worth a look.

"Polyunsaturated: 5.6g"

Red flag for me. Also sugar amount is quite high (which sugars though) so I would pass on this.

As for the "F18d3n3".

α-Linoleic - ALA - lipid number of 18:3(n-3).

Pufas and sugar :/ – mari Mar 27 2011 at 13:56
I wish they would have used coconut oil instead of olive oil. That seems like a weird choice. – sherpamelissa Mar 27 2011 at 16:30
Sugars = mostly honey & fruit; the refined sugars will be at most 3% of the bar. – haakuturi Mar 28 2011 at 0:39
Sugar still sugar for me ;) – Ikco Mar 28 2011 at 6:57

Sugars do seem high, but it looks like a good snack for emergencies, hiking, etc. How is it? It kind of looks like it can break your teeth. :)

I did a quick bit of math while at work today and the (refined) sugars come to at most 3% of the bar - the majority of it will be the honey and the fruit! It's actually surprisingly bendy & chewy without destroying teeth :D – haakuturi Mar 28 2011 at 0:39
