how do you know if a supplement is working for you? how do you know when it's better not to take it? i hate swallowing pills, so i just drifted to not taking anymore D3 or fish oil. i haven't noticed any bad effects on my health from doing that- i'm still keeping up a paleo/ef diet.
i remember prof devany recommending an antioxidant supplement from dr. demopulous (sp?) that he feels has helped him, but i also remember him saying that it was hard to tease out how much the supplement had done for him and how much it was the paleo/ef diet.
anyone seen dramatic benefit from taking a supplement, to the point that when you stopped taking it the benefit disappeared?
i'm taking a sugary supplement now called viactiv which has calcium, vita k, and d3. i like the fact that i don't have to swallow it and it's healthy candy! but, even with just 4 carbs, i think it may be increasing my cravings. so i'm going to skip it for today and see what happens.
