Or, is it just generally better to eat organ meat on any diet?

I would say it's good to eat them on any diet. When I was growing up we ate SAD but had liver once/week. Yuck! I hated it, but I'm glad now. I wish I'd served liver when my kids were young. |

I ate tongue, liver and brain when I followed a SAD diet. I didn't know if they were healthy or not my parents just fed it to me. |

I know that my dad has told me about his mom cooking Liver ALL THE TIME. I don't think he enjoyed it. Liver is one of those foods that was really common in our parent's time (50's, 60's, 70's) but recently I feel has fallen by the wayside due to the crazy super-availability of other meat (thanks factory farms!) |
