Is eggology paleo or primal?
I think it isn't; not saying it doesn't have its place in the world, but I don't think it is paleo or primal. It's mentioned in the Four Hour Body book in the "slow carb" section alongside grass-fed beef. I thought it odd to praise the grass-fed and then promote the eggology.
I don't see why organic egg whites wouldn't be paleo... but it's probably better to eat the yolks anyways, so I just stick to local free-range eggs whenever possible.
IMO, egg is paleo, but throwing out the nutritious tasty yolk in favor of the less nutritious and not as tasty whites is just not paleo. But from a health perspective, it probably will not hurt you to eat the egg whites only. They are reasonably healthy as long as you aren't allergic, but don't overconsume as egg whites cause biotin deficiency because egg white contains avidin which binds biotin. MOderation is the key. However, personally, I really like the yoke so you won't ever catch me eating plain egg whites if I can help it.
