I'm working hard with a bunch of Paleo enthusiasts to set up a high quality Paleo store, primarily for non-perishables with the hope of eventually moving into perishable items in certain local markets. I'm amazed there isn't a good online store that centralizes a lot of top quality Paleo products from different sources and I would like to fix that.
So my question is, which specific products do you think we absolutely must have for an online paleo store?
Fair shipping rates to Canada (i know this may be hard - but you asked what i would like to see)
Grass fed beef jerky
Good quality coconut products (including coconut aminos)
Paleo friendly supplements (Vit D3 and K2 in coconut oil or olive oil)
Macadamia nut oil and similar oils
Lots of spices (and good organic high quality ones!)
Please keep us up to date with your progress, as I'm sure to buy from you!
Hello all, New to Paleohacks (what a great resource!) but not new to Paleo. I too have been working on a paleo marketplace for about a month. some of the products you guys have requested are already up on my site. not sure if I'll ever find duck liver pate or grassfed liverwurst, but stuff like coconut oil, cacao, grass fed jerky, pemmican, trail mix, nuts, etc. are items I already had up there before i found this post (paleo eaters think alike!) the site is functional, but still being built. check in mid may and it should be totally complete. Jonathan, let me know when your project is up and running. I like your idea of eventually taking products to local markets. best of luck! Greg www.paleodietandliving.com
real canned/boxed coconut milk w/o additives! and not the watery stuff. soo hard to find!
it would also be fun to see random (sustainable) lifestyle compatible things culled from around the net - e.g. cookbooks, shoes, iron cookware, sulfate/paraben-free body products and stuff.. not that i really use too many 'body products' - but ya know, many ppl do.
