Say this guy you know, before embracing and stroking Paleo lovingly, thought he should own every gluten-free flour and starch known to the human race, and a variety of sugars on top of that. I know, barking mad he seems. What Paleo repurposing ideas would you suggest for that dozen or two lock-and-lock and other plastic storage containers he finally emptied and washed?

Leftovers, that's what i use them for - but those containers can also be used to store nails, screws, etc. craft supplies, toiletries, etc. That way you are not dumping them in a landfill AND you don't have to worry about BPA etc. leaching into your food. I used to make bowls from old LPs, I'm sure you could find a craft/art use for them - repurposed junk art is all the rage now. ;) |

Pots for fresh herbs. You can drill some holes at the bottom for soil drainage. :) |

Leftovers of course - I do it all the time now that I rarely finish what's on my plate. As a side note, you may want to check that it's free from BPA and other harmful plasticisers which leech into food, playing such havoc on our endocrine systems that they have earned the nickname "obesogens". |
