Any time you consume things which put your o6/o3 ratios out of whack, it's a good idea to supplement some fish oil. This can be when you eat food fried with seed oils, too many nuts or even beef which is not grass fed.
When I eat a bunch of nuts, I'll usually try to take a pill of fish oil or two. Especially with almonds because their omega 3:6 ratio is the worst of all the nuts.
I try to stick to Loren Cordain's advise on nuts and eat mostly those with better omega 3:6 ratios (walnuts and macadamias have the best omega ratio), and to limit the amount of nuts I eat per day to about 4oz.
