I was so hungry just now-- dont know why ate a healthy meal. So I just took a couple of spoon fulls of coconut oil and ghee -- is that totally gross or what??
I do this all the time. Both coconut oil and ghee straight off the spoon are lovely. Slices of butter are great too. Definitely nothing wrong with this - besides, it's better than reaching for a cookie or something.
Any thoughts about why, even though a person might eat meals regularly that consist of protein, fat and maybe some veggies, does a person get to a level of hunger that is hard to satisfy? I've been there, and it is a deep pain down in the gut that won't seem to go away. I've tried the coconut oil, but it doesn't sit so well when I eat it straight. I have found when I hit this deep level of hunger, a half or whole avocado will shut it down very comfortably.
