Are there any shows you watch that embody (or at least close enough) Paleo ideals/lifestyle?
I personally like a lot of the survivalist shows found on the Discovery or Travel channels, like Dual Survival, Man vs. Wild, Les Stroud's Survivorman, etc.
There is a new one called "The Wild Within". I've seen clips off the internet (we got rid of our cable, we really don't watch a lot of television), and the premise to the show sounds interesting (the "about the show" section says : "Author and outdoorsman Steven Rinella embarks on an exciting global adventure on the new Travel Channel series The Wild Within. As he explores the world's diverse cultures, Steven will reveal his deep conviction that within all of us, an instinctual hunter/gatherer is waiting to come out."
Anyways... what do you guys watch?
After reading the sample from J. Stanton's novel, The Gnoll Credo, (see http://www.thegnollcredo.com/reviews-of-the-gnoll-credo/), I did a search for Nature programs (PBS) on hyenas and found "Eternal Enemies: Lions and Hyenas". Very watchable for any Nature fan, but riveting when viewed from Stanton's paleo point of view. My opposable digit is up.
Also, for a not-bad talk-show treatment of paleo, see the Canadian program, Wylde on Health, for March 25 when Robb Wolf was the guest. http://www.cp24.com/wyldeonhealth/
