Are there any shows you watch that embody (or at least close enough) Paleo ideals/lifestyle?

I personally like a lot of the survivalist shows found on the Discovery or Travel channels, like Dual Survival, Man vs. Wild, Les Stroud's Survivorman, etc.

There is a new one called "The Wild Within". I've seen clips off the internet (we got rid of our cable, we really don't watch a lot of television), and the premise to the show sounds interesting (the "about the show" section says : "Author and outdoorsman Steven Rinella embarks on an exciting global adventure on the new Travel Channel series The Wild Within. As he explores the world's diverse cultures, Steven will reveal his deep conviction that within all of us, an instinctual hunter/gatherer is waiting to come out."

Anyways... what do you guys watch?

Les Stroud's Survivorman, what i like on him. Is he wasnt a member of any special forces. Other TV surivalists were in military special forces. And Les Strouds did a primitive camp. – oak0y May 9 2011 at 18:03

Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes.

It's a shame that Cavemen got cancelled.

Hey, thanks for the dick answer. I spend tons more hours reading than I do watching television... but then, that wasn't the question. – Jamie G. May 8 2011 at 20:34
You could even argue that watching pictures and listening to people talking, even if it's via electronic means, is more primal than interpreting little symbols on a piece of paper. Just sayin'. – Rose May 8 2011 at 20:43
