I know in the Paleo community may aspire to be "Brad Pitt Fight Club" Fit. However, Is he the only option? If you could model your physical appearance after anyone, who would it be? It could be anyone living or not, Famous or not. If you see your answer already posted vote for it.

I don't find the muscular/ athletic/ ripped look attractive either on women or men. I want to be curvy and sexy and healthily "soft" with a healthy amount of muscle but not more than slightly visible (no six pack, super flat stomach, or muscley arms/legs).

@AC um, being un-ripped doesn't make you physically incompetent. – g. May 23 2011 at 1:30

@Anonymous Coward: Why do you care? Why are anyone else's goals up for your judgement? The tone conveyed by the words in your message make it seem like you think it shouldn't be good enough for her. – Casey May 23 2011 at 1:49

Meh. Upvoted Danielle because I like how her goal is good for her. I'll leave it at that. – Casey May 23 2011 at 2:10

I don't find the athletic look attractive (example, fitness models etc). An example off the top of my head of my "ideal" body type would be Sophia Loren... she's older than I am but she is curvy and has a womanly body: blogue.us/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/… – Danielle May 23 2011 at 3:37

I'm pretty fond of Jessica Biel's body, I think she's fit, but still curvy.

But I'm pretty damn happy in the one I'm in. I've worked hard for it.

I like Jamie Koeppe's body structure, it is the closest I can find to my own. short, stocky, bubble butt hahaha. When i was working out I made shoulders a priority. something about broad shoulders on a woman makes me very "excited" :p

once baby is out its back to the grind for me!

Bat girl or Frank Frazetta's Huntress

1
The top one is Albert-Joseph Penot's bat woman. The second is Frank Frazetta's Huntress. Penot's Bat-woman has always been one perfect inspiration for me, he is a master when it comes to women. I lik.e frank frazetta's idea of woman's bodies. He's really spot on! They both are fantastic – Uggla May 26 2011 at 16:27

Christian Bale in "American Psycho," but mostly because of how he treated people

I would love to look like a classic pin up. It isn't super muscular, but it is the body type that I think I would feel most comfortable looking like. Also more realistic for my body style.

Thank-you! I am classic hourglass and I don't wanna feel like I have to become athletic looking, obviously muscular with a lower waist to hip ratio. – wood May 23 2011 at 3:15

perfect male body: somewhere between a kung-fu fighter and a ballet dancer... with abs like those of Martin Berkhan

i (male) personally, strive to get my waist as slender as possible, and shoulders as broader as possible: IF+VLC (with occasional high fiber / high carb days)+push-ups/pull-ups

I was wondering if this question had been "hacked" as I just wrote about this in my most recent post (Finding the "Perfect" Physique)

My own personal pick was Eugene Sandow, who is awesome for another reason close to my heart (you'll figure it out if you read the post)

I would love to look like this dude, and be as strong as him too:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHbyqFMiLpU&feature=related

Alas, I'm 5'6", and weigh 128. I'm pretty strong for my size though...benching 130 for reps right now, 200 5x5 squats, 195 deadlifts 3 rep max, pressing 100 and repping curls with 45 pounders. So maybe some day!

Erwan!

No one's mentioned Le Corre?! Dude. Yeah.

DUDE.

I would not mind looking like Vinny Magalhaes, a mediocre fighter who is pictured on the right here:

I've always thought that the winning wrestler framed by the famous photographer George Rodger looked good. Besides the fact that it's a beautiful picture.

Although I'm quite happy with my lighter frame. ;-)

I'd be happy with either Jason Momoa from Star Gate Atlantis or Ben Cohen. I know Ben probably isn't the ideal paleo diet.

I'm happy with the way I look, my BMI and BF%, but I could always do better. I think she looks really good:

my body type, if i were to be at my goal weight, would pretty much be exactly like kim kardashian. i cant stand anything about her, but thats what i look like- boobs and butt, never a waif, solid with a lot of muscle mass and a layer of fat that wont ever go away and frankly, i dont want it too. i would LOVE to look like sophia loren, or salma hayek. those are my ideal womens bodies, and for me its something actually attainable. ill never be described as "willowy" or "cut". im cool with that.

Obviously a skinny "Brad Pitt in Fight Club" look is not the only option; why would you even think that? Lifting weights and eating a caloric surplus is not anti-paleo as far as I know.

My ideal physique would be Terrell Owens. http://gossip.whyfame.com/tag/terrell-owens

I prefer to be as athletic as possible for the sports that I enjoy. I have a strong back/shoulders and stronger legs than most people I know, but I don't do any real chest or direct arm work. I have what I need but I notice when I work on chest and arms I get more attention from the opposite sex. So yeah, I have decided to do a little bulk for the next month or so and work on chest and arms. I always get good reviews from the ladies when my shirt is off, but as much as you try to take your shirt off you still wearing one the majority of the time. I am not vain... I could careless what I look like as long as I am not fat, but the extra attention is worth the work.

Also, I have decided to make an effort to bring back the six-pack. I still have it if you look hard, but its time to have it 100% of the time again without flexing.

I want to be me back in 2005, when I was strong, muscular and happy in my own skin.

I admire Jillian Michaels as far as physique as she is boxy like me.

For me, I want to look like me but buff and hott. I have a similar body type to Alex Puccio. My arms used to be almost as big has hers when I was climbing and lifting really hard. My stomach has ever been that cut though.

And in a guy, I look for Brad Pitt from Troy and Chris Hemsworth from Thor. Mmmm...drool...

The kind of body where I could go to a Halloween party pressed as a Spartan from the Movie 300 (and actually pull it off)...from what I've read those guys paid the price to look the way they did in the film:

http://www.gymjones.com/knowledge.php?id=35

p.s. Brad Pitt in Fight Club vs. Brad Pitt in Troy - RIDICULOUS.
