Following in the footsteps of the Bay Area folks (and of course, the NY Eating Paleo crew), I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an LA based Paleo meetup? I figure we could all meet up somewhere and talk about the paleo life. Perhaps down the line we could do ranch/farm tours and other fun things like that.

I know that Karen Pendergrass has an LA based meetup group put together on meetup.com and I don't want to step on her shoes. However, I thought I would throw something up on here and see what the response was.

	Hey guys, I would NOT feel like anyone was stepping on my shoes... its not like I own LA or anything. But if you do make another meetup group let me know because I want to send the people in my group to your meetups as well. Invite me too! Karen's group is great, but it's on the West Side. LA's huge! It'd be good to have a more central LA group. Perhaps an East Side or Valley-located group.

We're in Burbank - that might be a good central spot...we have roughly 30 pretty serious paleo-ites at our crossfit gym.

Im down to meetup. Im out in West LA. I can probably get some of my buddies to come too. Im originally from the Bay so I have to give some love to the Bay thread for starting the idea :-)

I'm from San Jose. Live in West LA, near Sawtelle & Olympic presently.

I may be starting a clandestine vegetable garden on public property. I've got a good spot scoped out. Anyone care to lend labor/tools/seeds?

I'm in Glendale and would try to come out - I'm not Paleo but Paleo-curious at the moment, and have been wondering about what sort of Paleo/Primal community, if any, is out here in SoCal.

I'll be moving to LA in the next couple of weeks and would really look forward to meeting some of you! I should be in the general Culver City/Santa Monica area. I just joined Karen's group and would really look forward to a meetup or a new paleo friend! I'm hearing good things about the farmer's markets in the area!
