Does anyone have any links to scholarship on long-chain fatty acid metabolism? DO you all know anything about whether LCFAs would serve as a more sustainable energy source.
The brain cannot use long-chain fatty acids for energy because they are completely albumin-bound and cannot cross the blood-brain barrier. So that is a big negative if they make up a large part of the diet.
