However, the package does not clarify some things.I believe that the dose I can get by taking 2 pills is much lower that the 10g recomended on the leangains website. The product I am talking about is this: http://www.solgar.com/SolgarProducts/BCAA-Plus-Branched-Chain-Amino-Acids-Vegetable-Capsules.htm Any ideas?Thank you guys.

the dose from 2 caps appears to be 1.2g. So you would need to be taking 8-9 doses, ie 16-18 caps. You should just buy the powder. I got some from bodybuilding.com pretty cheap. it tastes shit, but 2teaspoons is 10g. most of the BCAA's aren't water soluble so if you want to mix it you need citric acid. lemon juice normally does the job.

really? I use Xtend from Scivation and always of course have troubles getting it mixed into water. There's always those floaters that remain on top, yknow? I usually just scoop those out and eat them then down the water and mixed-in stuff. Never heard of using citric acid to aid in emulsification. Thanks. – ben61820 Jun 2 2011 at 12:35
yeah, my girlfriend is some sort of science magician and she told me. i put my BCAA in the bottom of a water bottle, put in a little bit of lemon juice and give it a good shake. then add water and give it another shake. most of it should be mixed in. tastes a little lemoney though. i make mine up at night and then drink it before the gym in the morning. – peter Jun 3 2011 at 3:08
