Okay so I've been practicing my boxing a lot recently and I really want to defeat my mate in our schools annual exhibition. i may have to deviate from the primal lifestyle in order to succeed in this.
anyone got any useful tips for boxing workouts or just workouts in general? also with the nutrition, got to get that right too.
all ideas i'd like to hear, i'd like the edge in the ring if i can get it.
Who has the reach advantage? Who is the harder hitter? Who has the better chin? Who is conditioned better? Who can take a better beating? Who has superior mobility and defense? Who can throw better combinations? Who has the speed advantage? Who can consistently land a jab? Who has more experience in the ring? All those factors play into who is going to win a match. Some of those you have no control over. You win by being a better overall boxer. You do that by training harder. So box more. That and watch some Rocky montages, and then train like Rocky IV style.
tips for boxing?... tips for life.. there is no such thing as talent, talent is like the SAD diet; "they" make you believe it to hold you down... be stronger than that, hard work, an un-aboding belief in oneself, training hard, will make you stronger... if you fail at first, it was just part of the learning curve, try harder... train better...
