eggs, butter, thick-cut bacon, green veggies, and tie between dubliner cheddar and berries (mostly for my kids who are half fruit-bat). believe it or not, all of my top five things need to be bought at five different stores. FML. i dont list coconut milk, beef, lamb, pork, coconut oil because i buy them in bulk once a year or so and keep them in the basement, but we do go through quite a bit of those things. i guess i also go through a fair amount of heavy cream since i make it into yogurt. thats at store #6. ugh. |

Ok, this is serious biz. I had to go for a second grocery round yesterday because I ran out of my leafy greens and a chick in line said I seemed so heartbroken that I didn't grab another bunch "just in case" that she offered to hold my basket AND place in line. Zoinks! I'm a nerd for my veg apparently.

I think I live in a great place to eat Paleo. I might have to go to three stores each week, but they are all very convenient. In the summer there is a fabulous farmers market full of seasonal veggies, fruits and lots of different frozen meats As I look at my list I see that eggs are missing. Maybe they should have been #5, but I have coffee daily, not eggs. When I need them I can pick them up at The Piggery, the co-op, or from a co-worker who has a flock of organic/lawn fed chickens. |

In no particular order:
There are veggies of course, lots and lots of veggies, but I think they'd warrant their own top five list. |

Couldn't limit it to just 5! These are the things I always have during the week, whether on their own or to cook/bake with.
