Okay, I have a dilemma here that I'd like the hackers' collective thoughts on. I have fairly problematic sweaty feet, for which there are no real convenient treatments. It's severe enough that I can't do as many "natural" things as I'd like to (like run around barefoot, or even in flipflops). The problem is that the currently treatment options are suboptimal at best. Other than surgery (and I won't go into the gory details of endoscopic thoracic sympathectamy here) available treatments include: botox injections (expensive and hey its a nerve toxin), iontophoresis (electrical shocks, which I've tried with poor results) and industrial-strength aluminum chloride antiperspirant. The latter actually does work for me, but I feel that continually dosing myself with a suspected endocrine disrupter is probably not a good thing to keep doing in the long run. Since I've made an effort to eliminate most of the other easily-eliminated toxins in my life, this is kind of troubling me.
Any thoughts, words of wisdom, sweaty-footed-caveman jokes?
