I am, and would love some moral support! I tried to start one for the new year, but fell off the wagon with booze, butter, and heavy cream & truvia in the coffee. I feel so much better than I did before going paleo, but I'm still having some gut issues that I need to suss out. I've done 21-day detoxes before (CLEAN Program) and found it really helpful to have the online support network (the live-in boyfriend eats pretty healthy but isn't real keen on challenges like this). If anyone's interested, maybe I could set up a group for us on Facebook, or we could keep in touch on each other's blogs. I proposed the idea to my girlfriends that eat paleo, but they didn't want to jeopardize their summer drinking plans, haha.

So, who's in?

For reference, howzabout posting a few Whole30 guidelines/blog post links here pointing to what you had in mind, so we're all on the same sheet of music...? – familygrokumentarian Jun 24 2011 at 13:26
Good idea! Here's where they keep all the Whole30 posts- whole9life.com/category/whole-30 – Jules K Jun 24 2011 at 13:37

If I weren't getting married AND taking a 10 day vacation in July, I'd be all aboard. Next time! – Scart Jun 24 2011 at 17:47
I'd be game except I'm throwing a euchre tournament/party and serving sangria. Gah. It gets me every time! Next time, I'm totally in. – StephNY Jun 24 2011 at 18:21

Love to see people jumping on board with the Whole30 - Version 4.0 will be up on the site on July 1st. If you're on Facebook, check out the new (official) Whole30 page for tips, tricks, recipes and accountability: www.facebook.com/Whole30. And if you're Tweeting about your W30 program, make sure you @ us! @whole9life. Best of luck to all of you.

Count me in. Not really "off the Paleo wagon", but need some motivation for really clean eating for a while.

Great! I have been a dietary train wreck this past week- had a burger with bun, pizza the next night, an Oreo sundae last night; it's baaad. – Jules K Jun 24 2011 at 12:57

Curse that wallet for being so empty! Mine is quite empty, too. – Sara Jun 24 2011 at 16:05

I should but I'll be moving and it will be very stressful. Maybe August is a better month for me. I was never really able to kick dairy :(

That's my thing- I'm not a milk drinker but I love my butter & cream! Unfortunately I think the cream is causing some problems :( Maybe I can track down my local raw-dairy-fugitive Amish and get some raw stuff after the Whole30... – Jules K Jun 24 2011 at 14:55

If I'm allowed to keep my butter, I'll join in! I guess I could try without it, but I really don't want to. Let me know how we communicate as a group. Maybe Patrik would let us do it on here? Just start the question: how was your whole 30 today?

Butter is not allowed on the Whole30, and that makes me sad :( I started a facebook group- facebook.com/#!/… Please do join us, even if you want to keep your butter (just don't talk about butter or it'll make me sadder, haha). – Jules K Jun 24 2011 at 16:31

Ghee is ok though, and is better than butter! – Oranges13 Jun 25 2011 at 14:36

I was all in until I saw someone's mention above about butter...hmmm...I think I could still swing it if I use bacon grease instead.

I am on vacation the end of July, so I'm going to start mine a little early to make it an even 30 days.

I'll be starting the challenge on Monday (6-27).

I'm in. I just got my labs and everything was great, but I need to drop some weight. I think the weekly cheats are holding me back.

I'm in! I need some outside eyes to kick this stevia and chocolate. Can I add nuts to my list? Those need a good kick in the pants, too. To Facebook!

Won't be starting until the 5th but yes, I've been planning on doing exactly this for a month or so now. Spending the time through the 5th with friends and family so I'm cheating more than I'd like to (I know excuses, excuses) and I haven't done a 110% strict 30 days yet but I'm definitely on board, just a few days late to the party. I'll be checking back daily to give and get progress updates. Bring on the good health!

Did not do it in July, just started an august 2011 run

I roasted a whole pastured chicken with my homemade paleo BBQ sauce, and made a big batch of grass fed beef taco hash. Some steamed broccoli on the side!

Mmm sounds delish! – Jules K Aug 2 2011 at 11:24
