Yes, some of us may have been eating traditional whole foods our entire lives (lucky them!). Is there anybody on here who's been avoiding processed foods and industrially-produced high-O6 oils for a very, very long time?

Regale us padawans your Jedi knight experiences!! Tell us about all the ways you've worked to keep going all this time!

No Kamal (or somebody) said he remembered a Paleo site from 1997. I remember that same site from about the same time. That said, I wasn't Paleo then. – Thomas Seay Jun 24 2011 at 16:28
I think Dexter has been doing this a long time, but I might be making that up! – sherpamelissa Jun 24 2011 at 17:37
I would guess this is what you were thinking of Akd: paleohacks.com/questions/43616/… Our man Matthew telling us about some old paleo sites on the web. – Paul Jun 24 2011 at 20:44

Been paleo for over 2 years, have seen great improvements in overall health. I have not found it hard to be paleo, it just seems right and natural. I do not get bored of food, it is fuel for the body not a Religion. I am in my mid 40's and I get mistaken for 30ish all the time. As my family continues down the paleo path, Life in general just gets better, less stress, kids do better in school, we do not use alarm clocks anymore. We enjoy paleo games such as 'OMG look what is in that person's shopping cart' lol.

Been on and off paleo since 2000. Clarence bass interviewed Art de Vany around then and I read a couple of other related articles and was hooked on the simple premise of eating like our ancestors(although I don't recall the term paleo being commonly used until relatively recently). Fallen off the wagon many times in that period, but generally would say I follow the 80:20 rule now.
