I have been around here for a little while, and seemingly made a random post when my computer had logged me out using the same email address. It made me reregister an account, and now I can't access any of my old information on posts, replies, etc.

Any help?

Hi Lance, it appears that you have ten separate accounts, which goes beyond my level of expertise to correct without losing some of your information. I'll leave this one for Patrik or WCC Paul, who are far more expert than I in merging accounts. – Ed Jun 26 2011 at 18:50

Wow, I thought Ed had to be mistaken, but he wasn't. This must be a Paleohacks record: your ten accounts have been merged into one. Email me (see my user page) if there's a problem. – Paul Jun 27 2011 at 4:34

I had this problem, too. So now I have an account that I use when in on my desktop, and o e I use on my phone. I can't do anything because I'm not registered, but can't register because my email address in already in use. It's all very frustrating.

Did you try deleting your temporary files/cookies in your phone? If it's an iphone like mine you can go to settings and do it. It solved the issue for me. – Aughra Jun 27 2011 at 4:44
Now this I'm slightly confused about, because I don't know what to do if you have only *un*registered accounts and no registered account. I'll see what Patrik says. Can probably be fixed. – Paul Jun 27 2011 at 4:49
OK, Sara, I'm looking into it. Does anything here help you? meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/42267/… It seems that you should be able to register both of those unregistered accounts if you make sure to use the email address that is associated with each of them (could that be the problem?). Once you do that, or at least register one of them, I can merge your accounts, or, rather, feel confident merging your accounts. I'll wait for some feedback on my comments here and get back to you. – Paul Jun 27 2011 at 5:52
