Going on the Paleo diet, my goals are to live a healthier life style, and to live the way my body was meant to function.
I love Paleo! I feel amazing, but my other goal is also to weight loss.
How many servings of fruit are okay to have on Paleo while trying to lose weight?
I normally have some fruit in the morning along with something for protein. And I usually have some for 'dessert' or a snack after supper. And now and then a snack in the afternoon if I feel a little peckish and supper isn't for another couple hours.
I eat fruits ranging from; strawberries, grapes, mango, pineapple, pomegranate, watermelon, kiwis, etc...

@Jacqueline Hi, I'm also wanting to lose weight on paleo. From what I've seen other people suggest and what has worked so far, is low carb in general. Paleo is naturally pretty low carb, but you can still accidentally overdo it with the fruit and starchy veggies. Starchier veggies being potatoes and winter squashes. As far as fruit, berries are always low carb :) just have like a handful a day!
Generally the answer would be zero servings of fruit is ok. If you are going to have some , the morning is the worst time. Should be toward the end of your eating window for the day. Also unless you are highly active you should stick to the zero fruit because it will sabotage weight loss
I think all this zero-fruit talk is insane, but many on here spout it as the current paleo weight loss dogma.
I'm a 6'2" male in my 30s. A couple years ago I weighed 275 lbs. Followed a paleo diet, which was high fat, high protein, and low carb, but which included, at a minimum 2 large bananas EVERY DAY. Often some applesauce or an orange too.
I have horrible back problems and in the past 2 years the only exercise I've gotten is walking ~2 miles every day. No weight lifting, no running (simply can't do it).
I weigh 195 lbs today. I've lost 80 pounds essentially without exercise.
Eat lots of eggs, lots of fatty meats, lots of vegetables, some fruit.
But please just forget about this zero-fruit nonsense.
Pay attention to your body, but for me, eating lots of coconut oil and cream kick start my weight loss. There are other pple here who know more about how and why this works, but it works like crazy for me. It's kind of a fight fat with fat syndrome ;-)
I know for women it can be a lot harder to lose weight because of hormone imbalances. Because sugar has a lot of fructose and fructose can mess with your hormones, I find that the less fruit I eat, the better I feel, and I try to get my carbs from sweet potatoes and starchy veggies. For people with sugar issues, I feel like cutting out fruit really helps. And I know cutting out nuts really helps people lose weight, since it's so easy to over indulge
