when do you have your biggest meal of the day? smallest? or do you tend to eat the same amounts at each meal? also, do your meal sizes correlate with your hunger or something else?

I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full - and this does include snacking. I think it's better for my body to not have a "food clock" but do try to be somewhat consistent post WOD to get that nutrition in there quickly. All my meals are pretty much the same size and if I'm full, I eat pretty slow, I just drop into a container for another time. I do however have a protein and fat snack about 30 minutes before bed the night before CF and then again in the morning before I cycle down. I used to train fasted but the summer is just too much here in BK and discovered these two mini-loads help me get through my workout much more effectively.

Oops! Should have added in that it's generally 3-4 meals a day :) – jesuisjuba - paleorepublic.com Jul 13 2011 at 15:29

I go by what my body is asking for. I used to try to analyze it, but now I just go with the flow. If my body is asking for a big breakfast then I go with it and it's not asking for much I go with that. It works. Usually though my body seems to want more food early in the day and not necessarily a big dinner.

I don't think it really matters as long as most of your food is eaten after you train if it is a training day.

Right now I'm trying a Leptin sensitivity re-set, so my biggest meal is breakfast - trying to get the 40 - 50 g protein in required by the protocol takes a bit of doing for me. The other 2 meals are a little smaller, protein-wise, but have the vegetables that I don't really have the room for at breakfast.
