Please answer with some pictures that highlight how you see the world now.

Bread, as I see it now.

This is what bread looks like to me now.

You just made me spit my tea all over the monitor! Thanks for brightening my afternoon. THIS is the image I will picture now whenever I go by the Cuban bakery and smell that delicious baking bread smell. – JCB Jul 14 2011 at 22:24

Wow this is nothing to laugh about. Great idea: reverse food associations. Might work wonders with kids. My daughter recently tried macaroons before a car trip...loved them. They were only on the seat in the car when she was getting car sick on a curved mountain road...suddenly she hated macaroons by errantly associating them with her ill feeling...but forever. And so yes, I too will picture in my mind this moldie delight whenever I smell an evil bakery. Must find a way to reverse all those other evil food associations. – Kathi Jul 14 2011 at 23:48

I wish I had some funny photos like others have posted. I'll just have to post my life at the moment. For the past couple of months I've been busy paddling kayaks and living in the wilderness. Here are some highlights: The deck of my kayak before crossing the sound before sun-up, me paddling at sunrise, a crab we caught and ate for dinner, and my caveman crunch in my "bowl."

It looks like it was shaped wrapped around the inside/outside of a mould when raw and then cooked. – Simibee Jul 14 2011 at 22:03

So sad. I see children like that walking around wal-mart. Why is it that their parents can see their kid look like that every day and never ask themselves "what is wrong here?" – pistachio Jul 16 2011 at 3:01

I adopted this pic from a Paleohacker. I just find it fascinating on so many levels.

No gyms.

No fancy equipment.

Just pure, raw nature.

The next time you encounter a nay-sayer, just drop this pic on him/her.

Symbol of Wisdom, Knowledge, and the People's Heritage

From the aphorism: Se wo were fi na wosan kofa a, yenkyi.

Literal translation: There is nothing wrong with learning from hindsight.

The word SANKOFA is derived from the words SAN (return), KO (go), FA (look, seek and take). This symbolizes the Akan's quest for knowledge with the implication that the quest is based on critical examination, and intelligent and patient investigation.

The symbol is based on a mythical bird that flies forwards with its head turned backwards. This reflects the Akan belief that the past serves as a guide for planning the future, or the wisdom in learning from the past in building the future.

(if I ever blog, this will be my logo)

This is how my girlfriend Lindsay looks...except her boobs are bigger, and her stomach is flatter. Other than that...exactly like that. People always stop her and ask about the Sabre-tooths. Not kidding.
