The paleo diet is a low residue diet, your body does use almost everything you consume. When you eat a lot of grains which contain not so much what the body needs and is high in residue: you'll have to go much more often to the bathroom.
i go 0-2 times per day. usually on the 0 days, i might go 2 times the next day, but not always. it averages to once in the morning about 5 days per week. i keep my fiber intake low- no raw veggies- all cooked to death- and no more than 1 cup per day. i usually have 1 piece of fruit, too. the rest is all no fiber foods like eggs, meat, gelatin, and dairy.
