After 45 years of living, I never drank coffee, until last month. After various hacks and tweaks involving the number of meals per day, size of meals, etc. , I've settled into eating twice a day (no snacks). I don't eat breakfast (don't tell my mom - who insists it's the most important meal of the day).
Instead, I have black coffee (no cream, no sugar). I haven't been low carb for my lunch or dinner. I've lost 7 pounds which is hard for me because my weight is very stable. (195 down to 188 which I'm very excited about!)
As to the appetite question: I've been able to skip breakfast without really being hungry (something I never could have done in the past). I don't know if it's the coffee (or caffeine), although obviously it is easy enough to test (by trying the same qty of different liquids, and/or trying decaf).
So, has anyone here found coffee to be an appetite suppressant?

Not sure about coffee exactly. Hot liquids are a good thing to have anytime hunger hits at the wrong moment. Usually helps me get at least 2 more hours out of an intermittent fast period, if it's coffee, tea or whatever hot liquid, even hot water straight up (don't knock it until you've tried it). That's my experience anyway.

Yes coffee can squelch apetite briefly drinking several mugs a day won't have enough of an impact to help you get thinner. Coffee abolish apetite, such a large number of individuals beverage it to shed pounds. A moderate measure of coffee can help support digestion system and stifle your ravenousness
