Hi everyone, I was just wondering what you guys do in the morning for breakfast if you have a routine...? I've always wondered what people do...I'm always being told different things like eat an hour within waking or eat small meals during the day, it just annoys me....I find it hard to stomach bacon and eggs that early in the morning and even downing a thick smoothie when some of my early work starts at 6 am. I was wondering do you guys just wake, eat and go or start your morning with tea and wait till your actually hungry to eat? does it make a difference?
Depends what your goals are.
If someone is trying to lose 50lbs, it's going to be different than someone trying to put on 50lbs of muscle.
IMO, do what feels right, force feeding yourself or starving yoruself seems pretty stupid unless the goal you are aiming for is more important than your short-term quality of life.
I usually wake up around 8 or 9am and hit the gym by 10am. Breakfast is around noon, maybe once a week or so, I just wait until 6 or 7pm and eat a big dinner breakfast.
Breakfast usually ends up looking somewhat like this, with a few refills on the salad and some berries on the side (recently got some awesome boysenberries), and a handful of my favorite supplements (mostly vitamins / minerals.) I eat twice a day, but two different schedules. Either eat at 6ish and then again at 6pm, or at 2pm and then again at 8pm. Depends what's going on. I sometimes have my fruit serving at 6am on days when I won't eat until 2pm for my first meal.
