I was in the gas station and I noticed nuts coated with Cacao powder. Of couse they used a none paleo friendly oil but it was something I wanted to do at home.
I've already soaked and dehydrated the nuts.
I'm not very good at making recipes, so I need to know something paleo friendly to get the cacao powder to stick to the nuts.
Your pick of paleo friendly oil would be fine. Melt ghee or coconut oil so it will coat a thinner layer than if it was colder. Or you could try to coat it with honey water. Honey will probably be too thick so thin it out with some water.
melt some cocoa butter, add some natural cocoa powder and some carob extract(which is something like molasses) or honey, mix and cover over nuts
Or if you have cacao powder, just mix with some honey or carob extract and cover over nuts.
