Aside from a microwave.
I am wanting to take a tablespoon or so of melted coconut oil at every meal. Is there an addon anyone can recommend for something that could go on the stove? I just want a way to melt it quickly and not have most of if left on the pan which would be the case I feel if I used a normal pan.
If it's a hot meal, it should melt right over your food if you're adding it after the fact. (Eg. when I add butter over a steak, I don't pre-melt the butter.) Alternatively, you could spoon some into a cup / dish, drop that into a bowl of hot water, then come back to it when it's liquid.
Not sure what you are after. As a flavor enhancer I think @paleot has the right approach. Either cook your food in it, or melt it over said food.
If you are looking to add fat to your diet, @raydawg has the right approach, use the microwave. Of course coconut oil does not have to be melted to consume, you could just eat it straight.
If you are looking for the MCT boost to keotsis, why not just buy a jar of NOW MCT oil? then you just drink it as needed.
