I haven't been able to find a paleo-friendly doctor here in Hawaii and would like to see someone while I am in LA for the ancestral health symposium. Can anyone recommend to me a doctor? I will probably get bloodwork done here so I can bring him/her the results and figure out my health (likely liver) problems and why I can't lose fat despite being paleo for 2 years and low-carb for 3 1/2 years. I know about the low carb doctors website but would first like to see if anyone can recommend first hand. I have put off buying my plane ticket so I can accommodate to a doctors appt and would like to buy my ticket this weekend. Thank you!

I'd also love to know if anyone has seen Dr. Susser or any other paleo-oriented docs in the L.A. area! There are a few listed on the Paleo Physicians Network but most are chiropractors and I'm looking for a practitioner who can incorporate medical (stool, blood) testing as well. |
