This is curious to me, I've never tried it. Preliminary reading shows it's intended for poison, gas, digestion, clearing toxins

anyone tell me the BAD stuff beside leeching some of your ingested vitamins/minerals?

Animals typically only crave charcoal when they have an out-of-control parasite infection or other life-threatening digestive disturbance. – Bread-Eating Beelzebub May 30 2010 at 13:25

My only experience with charcoal is watching other soldiers being ordered to take it when they ate the wrong things in Field Exercises, supposedly it can calm the gut and bind to toxic agents to help prevent absorption.
