For a guideline, let's snitch an old Miss Manners suggestion and make the dinner party three males and three females to facilitate interesting conversation.

So, who are you inviting, what paleo food would you like them to bring, and what are we all drinking???

(yes, I'm using paleohacks as a substitute for a social life. Why do you ask?)

Extra love if you include links to recipes!

I didn't know this was a personality contest. – Wozza Jul 26 2011 at 21:49

To start with I'd invite The Quilt, whose advice at jackkruse.com has helped me so much. And I assume Robb Wolf is here somewhere? He'd get an invitation because his book was important in explaining paleo to me and getting me started. Oh, and Mark Sisson of marksdailyapple.com. His blog is very useful, and I have his book and two of his cookbooks. (The cookbook co-author, Jennifer Meier, would be invited, too.) And who's the dude who set up paleohacks.com? Patrik? He'd get an invitation.

And who's that Sebastien fellow who wrote the paleo e-cookbook? Wow, that is a huge help. Let's invite him, too.

(Not even sure if all of these people are on this site, come to think of it. Are they?)

Next up, I want to invite all the paleohacks members who've posted useful recipes and tips here, which is going to increase the crowd quite a bit. Let's invite all the people who are further along than I am on the paleo journey, so that they can inspire me some more. (Oh, greedy me!)

But maybe others need some inspiration, too? And maybe I'm actually further along on the paleo journey than some. So let's invite them, too. I'm sure they'll be good company, and we'll have a blast together.

By now I'm probably up to hundreds of people, but hey! Not hundreds of carbs. :-)

The more I think about it, the more I'd like all of you to come for dinner.

Why does it have to be only 6 people? I'd love to hang out with several people who post here! A potluck could support hundreds of people really - 6 people is a dinner party.

Maybe I was thinking too small! I was going with how many would easily fit in my house. – Adam Crafter Jul 26 2011 at 18:10

I would like to have paleohackers from around the world come and bring the food and drinks from where they come from (with their paleo spin of course)

I love ethnic food and LOVE trying new foods - so this would be a great way to do that.

I would like for everyone to come - backyard BBQ potluck at my house!!
