I was just wondering if frequent urination could be caused by a food allergy. I introduced eggs into my diet just recently with the most obvious symptom being frequent urination, specifically at night. When I mean frequent, I mean every 15-20 minutes, sometimes not complete but just a small drizzle. I remember I had the exact same symptoms when I introduced tomatoes into my diet after avoiding them for so long. Can a food allergy cause this or should look our for other possible causes?

When you mentioned tomatos I immediately recalled reading about salicylate intolerance causing "urgency to pass water," but I don't know about eggs. |

Try removing the eggs from your diet and see if it gets better. Then, reintroduce them and if it returns you've got your answer. |

I practiced Elimination Communication (also known as Infant Potty Training) with my third and fourth kids. I didn't notice a correlation but many of the other moms I knew noticed that unusually frequent urination was connected to food allergies. Of course, adults are toilet trained, so it's a little different, but I'd say you were spot on. |
