Sorry to ask two questions in a row but What is the best meat to eat? What meat do you get more from?
Some say fish and others beef. What do you all think?
The best meat to eat is the one you love to eat. Too many people hang themselves in the search for perfection or finding "the best" and end up making themselves miserable. Eat the meat that you love and try to get some variety. Grass fed beef is probably king in the paleo world but don't eat it unless you enjoy eating it or can find a way to enjoy eating it.
The best meat? Whatever's on your plate! (I was going to say "whatever's in your mouth" but thought it unwise)
Seriously though, I think that meat from ungulates (grazing animals) is the number one best choice. Especially when you can get some primo grass-finished cuts that haven't been stripped of all of their fat. Beef, bison, elk, deer, etc.
Second would have to be pigs, the wilder the better.
Thirds is a tie between fish and fowl.
Fourth crustaceans and other little critters.
It doesn't really matter which meat is the "best". Variety is the spice of life. Eat lots of Fish, lots of Grass-Finished Beef, and some pork etc.....eat any meat, as long as it's not processed. If you only ate ONE type of meat, no matter how nutritious it seems on paper, eating nothing BUT that meat would not be optimal to health. Be diverse.
I say fatty large fish, if you eat its liver and roe too. So whatever is in season. I dont think there is many things more nutritious than fish roe, but its quite expencive if you buy it separately, whole fish and you get it for free :)
