Any Ontarians out there? Where do you get your grass-fed dairy? I'm in the GTA area specifically.

www.berettaorganics.com...Ambrosia carries a few of their products as does the odd deli in the GTA and they deliver. if you go to York Farmer's Market in Thornhill the butcher there has pastured beef that is finished with potatoes. there is also someone selling at the Riverdale Farmer's Market and i think they are the same folks from St Lawrence Market. cheers! eh |

I just started drinking milk again, stopped for over 2 years. Harmony Organic has milk that is kind of grass fed. Tastes great and you can get non-homogenized milk from them to. This is what I got in an e-mail inquiring about the cattle. "When the cows are out on pasture they can eat as much grass as they want. When they are back at the barn, hay and a grain mix would be offered to them. They would always be able to have some grain if they wanted to." It is the best i've been able to find, and it taste great. It also doesn't cause me problems of excess mucus like normal store milk does. |
