I wholeheartedly take pride everytime I am able to log in and see my PaleoHack family/friends due to being able to learn so much from you guys. Through the logic and better understanding of what this site has done for me personally

Anyone out there feel the same?

Thank you All

Hey folks, when you leave a down vote, it's very helpful to leave a comment explaining why you did. – Karen Aug 1 2011 at 11:53

I enjoy and appreciate PH also. I'm not sure that this thread adds a lot to the discussions though, so I'm not leaving and up or down vote. I'm willing to be persuaded. – Karen Aug 1 2011 at 12:25

If you posted in it twice your behavior says otherwise – The Quilt Aug 1 2011 at 13:15

In the last three months, I have learned from many here. My quality of life has improved greatly. I have lost 20 pounds with out trying. My blood sugar has leveled out. I am off of medications. My hives are gone. I have not used my inhaler once. My chronic headaches are diminishing. There's been nothing but good here. Everyone here leaves an opinion or an experience that others may comment on. I take what I need and since I am my own guinea pig, I see what works. If something works for me, I comment hoping that my experience may help another. I am grateful to you all. Thanks

Awesome.....plus one. Now go find someone else and tell them what you told us and help them change their life. That is how we change the world – The Quilt Aug 1 2011 at 13:17
Am doing...already changing.. Several. As they notice my rapid weight loss after three years of trying to do the Body For Life diet in vain.... people are coming out of the wood work to ask what is happening – wildthing Aug 4 2011 at 0:35

What paleo hacks does for me is not so much about the information, although that is valuable, it is about community.

It makes me feel better to know that I am not the only one who worries too much sometimes and cheats sometimes and doesn't eat only grass fed and isn't a cross fitter.

Paleohacks gives me nuance and perspective and a feeling that there is a place in paleo for me even though I am overweight and not athletic and not like the icons who I want to lean from.

It assures me that this is something people can do who are not crazy committed, who just want to feel better and who are not willing to completely change everything about their life.

And it makes me feel like I have company in the not quite perfect club.

Aside from the people on here that always make it lively and interesting, I love it as a resource for pretty much anything I'm curious about. If there isn't any old threads about it we can always ask and get some really awesome answers.

The wealth of information in old threads is just staggering, including links to so many great blogs and studies!

Like PaleoPlay and others have said here, I appreciate paleohackers for what I learn from you all every day. But for me, the bigger benefit is probably knowing that other people have done the research or tried this, and agree that eating meat and saturated fat can be the right thing to do for optimal health.

Basically, paleohackers help make up for the constant "You're eating THAT?" and show me that no, I'm not a looney tune all alone out here.
