Wo wohnen Sie in Deutschland? Ich wohne bei Stuttgart. Ich bin eine Amerikanerin so mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht aber praktizieren ich gern. – turkeytyme Aug 3 2011 at 13:54
Caucasian (Irish). I feel best when I eat a high but not 100% raw diet. – Pecan Mar 17 at 15:15

Sicilian and German.

grew up loving Carpaccio. Now eat meat rare or even seared. And lots of sushi. Occasional raw milk. Just got into raw sauerkraut.

Caucasian European (English, German) and since going Paleo I've started preferring my meat more rare than I did before. Beef and lamb I like at medium-rare and am working my way up to Blue rare (seared outside, raw inside). I find that fats are more tender when you don't overcook them. Just a bit of heat to release those juices! Yum!

Raw veggies (except for greens) are boring to my palate and I prefer having them cooked in some way.

german, swedish, danish

Lots and lots of fish! raw, cooked, dried, anything really

meat: only rare to raw

offals: cooked medium. raw liver sometimes but I need to be in a seriously good mood for that.

nothing unusual about that though; average scandinavian likes it the same, I think (except for the liver maybe).

don't eat too many veggies. I like my greens cooked and raw, depends on the mood!

hi AnnAmalia. i have lived some years in belrin. How do you get your stuff together. Where do you get good raw fishs? I know there is some markets ? I remeber the dealer in the marheineke markthalle. And also at farmers market in neuköln. Its funny people fishing in the teltow Kanal i its very much industry close too. berlin is very fascinating. – oak0y Aug 4 2011 at 10:37
hey! there is a huge store where you can only order in bulk basically. it's called havelland. fish is from müritz, that's as local as it gets in berlin. they have really high quality meat too, sometimes there are special deals; last week it was 2 kilos of grassfed beef (uckermarker rind) for 25 euros. their pork is amazing!!they get it from 2 local farms which have 2 different kinds of pastured pork. one of them gets apples every now and then so the meat is really juicy and sweet. or on the markets of course, as you said. that's where I get my main supply for produce too. – annamalia Aug 8 2011 at 14:03

Scottish and Irish ancestry here. I like fruits and veggies raw, depending what the veggie is. I like sushi. I like my steaks medium rare. Other than that, not really.

Mostly Finn, some Native Hawaiian, Chinese, and Portugese.

Raw foods are fun, I find that my digestion is super smooth and effortless with a mostly raw diet. Even sashimi.

Russian, Irish. Love rare steaks, sushi, carpaccio, steak tar tar, raw liver, raw eggs. Feels absolutely invigorating. If my food isn't sourced right, raw food gives me stomach aches. Definitely not as "far out" as people imagine.

indigenous to the united states, ethnically Italian and Mexican. only knew of raw meat eating by hearing stories of my great grandmother snacking on lamb while preparing meals. started eating raw meats five years ago after several elimination diets(veggie, vegan, raw vegan, paleo), have been consuming raw meats, yolks and offal ever since. eat very little veggies, would cook certain veggies tho :)
