I live in Portugal and although access to quality foods is fairly easy (iberian pork, fresh seafood, grass fed - although grain finished - beef, etc.), I do struggle to find some items.

Coconut products are almost nowhere to be seen (I pay way too much for the jar of coconut oil sitting in my kitchen), as are some nuts (macadamias, pecan) and some paleo snacks are just impossible to find.

I've stumbled upon several US-based online stores that sell pale snacks and most have natural jerky.

My question: anyone kenos a store that ships it to Europe?

If you aren't able to find any, making jerky is really quite easy. You'll need a cheap dehydrator, or an oven you can keep at very low temperature, or VERY dry sunny days, racks and screening to keep the bugs away. You can also build a solar dehydrator if you'll be making jerky often. There are lots of recipes and instructions online.

+1 We bought a dehydrator the other day from Amazon. It was only about $70. So far, all we've made is jerky (it's fabulous and truly easy to make). Next up, drying the abundance of herbs in the backyard. – Paleo-ish Aug 9 2011 at 23:04

--- Sorry guys, this is in Portuguese, no trying to insult anyone. If by popular demand I'll translate this below into English in another reply ---

Isto dos Paleos man, somos poucos.

=)
