Can anyone compare these for me? I have tried the Artisana and loved it and the texture. However, someone suggested coconut manna and it is cheaper by far... thanks!

ok based on this feed back and one from a thread about coconut butter and different brand (w something) I think I will stick with Artisana. I really liked that it wasnt gritty and it was smooth.....hard to mix at first but I figured out the trick was to shake it then flip it when ever i walked by...

&&& EXCELLENT NEWS>>> My Whole Foods NOW carries Artisana! I also found Grassfed whipping cream that I have never seen in there either! &&&

I have been wondering the same thing. I'm going through the stuff like crazy! When in doubt and no inclination either way, I assume that higher price means higher quality product. – Jane Aug 10 2011 at 15:08

Jane, FYI and just for the record, there is no statistical correlation between price and quality. Pricing is a marketing tool so that customers 'believe' they are receiving quality. (Taking off my MBA hat now...) – Marie Aug 10 2011 at 16:10

I just finished some of the Artisana with my breakfast... I've tried both and would go with the Artisana if given the choice. Both are good, though.

i have not tried artisana because of the price, so i cant compare the taste, but nutivia is organic with no GMO, no fillers or preservatives and unrefined so all my requirements are met. on paper, i dont see any difference between the two. and it sure tastes good!

you can try reading through the answers on this thread, too.

i bought some shredded organic coconut at the bulk store and made my own. i used a stick blender and it was a very long process.

From my (limited) experience, the Artisana is smoother, moister, less gritty, and sticks to the surface of your mouth more.

I think Artisana is in a class all it's own...they just make a fabulous product, and it is more like a treat...Nutiva was more like what I can whip up in my food processor, good, but not fabulous, imho...Artisana's other nutbutter are equally incredible...the most delicious I've ever tasted.

I've had both and they're both quite delicious. I usually get Nutiva due to the price. – Joan Aug 11 2011 at 2:42

Absolutely love Nutiva - haven't had the opportunity to check out Artisana yet. I plan to start making my own though.
