What changes do you plan on making to your template as a result of AHS? What are you cutting out and what are you experimenting with?

I'm considering removing "speak now or forever hold your peace" from my wedding ceremony if I invite Gary Taubes. |

Detachment from outcomes. Play! Just now on the way home I stopped at the park and climbed the jungle gym then went on the swings. Wheee! Also experimenting with the idea of moving to Hawaii and asking Denise Minger to be my wife even though she has no idea who I am. |

I can't say I learned a lot of new information. It was more of a spiritual experience. Being with my people and having them read from our bibles so to speak. I felt at one with the paleo universe. That alone was worth the price of admission. You have to remember too that each of us only saw half of the presentations. There may very well be new things I was not exposed to that may change my mind about some things or change behaviors. I don't know. I am going back to tracking my blood glucose levels though. I used to and then I stopped. I'm also going to try to stop spouting off some of the paleo one-liners we're all so fond of after listening to Matt Lalonde. We all sound like a bunch of ignorant duffases sometimes and we need to stop that. I will try to do my part. |

THANK YOU! This is the first piece of literature I've seen about AHS that actually matters! Yes, I know it was nice to have a social event and act really cool, but what was really learned that is making your life better? I didn't go, so I don't have an answer, but was there anything revealed at AHS? I would rephrase this question as "What was learned at AHS that you are acting upon and are there results?" |

I'm more interested in natural movement- going to save up for an upcoming MovNat workshop. Also less interested in feeling like I have to defend paleo when I see it come up in mainstream outlets; I've had more and more people approach me about it over the last few months, wanting to learn more, and that's great. I'm going to keep doing my thing with my blog and sharing info that I find valuable, but also going to cool it on my trolling of Active.com, Shape & Self facebook pages, etc. when I see paleo-related topics come up; just gets my blood pressure up and I doubt I'm changing anyone's mind! "If people don't want to buy in, f--- 'em!" -Robb Wolf (one of my fave AHS soundbites) |

I presented last year (and will be again this Sat), I was wondering if anyone had tried to change their oral posture and are trying to eat a harder diet, I know that my lecture was in room B on a dead day but the video has been live for some time and this is a very different angle from the diet approach that is covered so well and in such depth every where else. Has anyone looked into this, or is even aware of this? Mike Mew |
