Every morning I sit down to breakfast and the first thing I think of is YOU. That's right, YOU. Because, despite our divisions, this is what unites us every morning of our lives. We're all eating egg for breakfast. Now you might get all "Mavericky" some mornings and have leftovers from last night's pot roast but, admit it, 9 times out of 10, you're having that damm egg for breakfast.
You have a love/hate relationship with the egg. You would like to see something else staring back at you in the morning. Yet, when it's not there, you feel lonely. Like everybody else on Paleohacks, you have asked the question, "What can I have for breakfast beside eggs?" But the egg is sort of like the Terminator: he'll be back.
So resolution: shall the egg be the official mascot of PaleoHacks?
I think it should be a strip of bacon giving a biscuit the finger.
Dude everyone here is hatin on eggs. 27 billion paleo egg eaters and like 11 people that aren't and they all want to comment here. lol.
nah just kiddin. but seriously though i didn't realize so many people were intolerant of them.
3 eggs over easy in coconut oil with sea salt and pepper on top of seasoned gf ground beef with sweet potato wedges and panfried onions. add a diced up serrano pepper and you're golden!
No way Jose!
This would definitely be better than the apples that have inexplicably been adopted even by paleoish blogs that actually don't really think apples are that healthy (Mark's Daily Apple, Whole Health Source and Perfect Health Diet). That said I tend not to eat eggs, but then again, I rarely eat breakfast either...
Sounds good to me. I get a little bit of anxiety if I run out of eggs for breakfast. My daughter commented the other day, "I think I'm addicted to eggs, mom." She will eat them anytime of the day, about 4 at a time. We eat a lot of eggs. Such a perfect food and versatile.
I know the love for eggs. I used to eat many daily. I haven't had one in months, so I might have to vote no:( Unlessof course it's a ostrich egg. Holy hell I saw some at a market yesterday in NYC, things are no joke n
I know a lot of folks who don’t eat eggs (they’re allergic, for health reasons, or concerns about animal cruelty). Here’s an awesome site that gives tips on cooking and baking without eggs: http://EggFreeLiving.com
