Grains are acidic foods (and hard to digest also) that might explain why your condition has improved. Maybe you still have some acidic foods in your diet or at least foods your body/stomach doesn't like too much (nightshades, sweet fruits, dairy...). – Alchemille Aug 14 2011 at 20:36
there are so many duplicates on here! i'm afraid i don't care for the admin, over-lord function on this site. there's really inconsistent enforcement re. duplicates, re. what constitutes a question, etc... how about just letting everything stay up, unless it's racially inflammatory or a direct attack? – delete me Aug 14 2011 at 21:14
@ jakey, you're right about there being many duplicates, so many that the moderators cannot catch them all (although Melissa does an admirable job of weeding out duplicate questions). Also, "selective" enforcement is due to the fact that PH standards for questions are sometimes open to interpretation, and mods are human (believe it or not). The reason some questions are closed is to improve the "signal-to-noise ratio" of this site. Members with 3000 reputation can vote to close or re-open questions. With 15 reputation, you can flag any question. – Ed Aug 14 2011 at 23:34
