Hello everyone,

I've been paleo for about 8 months now (I don't do any dairy except butter, no sugar at all, no fruit, no nuts among other things b/c I've struggled with Candida for a while) and in the last month I put on almost 7-8 lbs, I feel sort of sluggish and I have bodyaches, I feel like I'm retaining water and my belly is bloated and I'm super hungry, but really hungry for butter, I just want to eat it plain in chunks... Also, I haven't had my period in months and I've also experienced a boost in sex drive.

On a positive note, I am stronger because I can now do things I couldn't do before, on a negative note, I don't like the way that I feel...

Any suggestions?

What are you eating for protein? What is a typical day eating?

hey i am having the exact same issues, any luck? the only difference is i have very little sex drive no period in years although i am only 28

also are you taking any suppliments, vitamins, probiotics? have you had yeast/candida issues? i am thinking mine has to do with taking vitamin c lately, as well as oding on probiotics because i was having some candida/gut flora disbiosis, and lots of onions and garlic ! going to back off for a few days and see how that goes, just lean muscle meats, a little root veggies, enough butter or clo, MINIMal grapefruit and maybe some dandelion greens....hope you are feeling better, ill update my tummy trubs super clean eating with just – jessica Nov 25 2011 at 13:22
