He's doing one in the DC area in late July, and I was wondering if it's worth $200. Anyone ever attend one, or heard from someone who did?

I was wondering this myself as there is one coming up in the DC area soon. – NWHamilton Jun 8 2010 at 23:56
I haven't take his seminar, but have done the tele-consult with him. I thought it very good and a great value. – Patrik Jun 9 2010 at 1:58

I went to both the Crossfit cert with Robb (and Matt actually, at the time was being groomed to be the crossfit East coast cert presenter) and the Paleo Solution Seminar...the course material is nearly the same though his newest seminar goes into more details of insulin sensitivity, cortisol, leptin and leptin resistance, etc...definitely worth going to...at this time there is no certification or even participatory note given, though I think Robb has been saying that Matt's seminar will be advanced topics and may actually be certifiable (no pun intended :) in the future.

I paid $200 and was xfit certified in Nov 2008. He and Nicki are AWESOME.

If you have an opportunity, go. It is worth every MINUTE of your time -- nutrition and the supps and the hormone subsequent changes made SENSE completely afterwards for me. I wasn't fullblown Paleo until I committed to the certification, I dunno why (30-something years of inbred diet nonsense? Being addicted to carbs especially chocolate croissants and my sticky buns??)

I took the One given by Mat Lalonde and it was worth every penny! Very technical but accessible for anyone.

Since Mat and Robb are collaborator, I would say that the seminar given by Robb Wolf would be a must to attend.

Do you get a certification for that $200? If so no question, if not probably still worth it

Yeah, I mean, what is the point of a certification that is not really recognized by anyone else except "us". Robb has mentioned several times in his podcast that he did not like giving out a certification when he was doing his "gigs" with crossfit, that was a crossfit thing, not a Robb Wolf thing. – Ian G Jul 24 2010 at 2:50
